Join us at a dancer-owned gastropub known for it's creative food and quirky styling, play a few games, and get to know new friends! Sunday: South Congress Music Time: 12:30 - 3pm Location: Jo's Hot Coffee (and more) Austin has live music everywhere, from country, to funk to jazz, to blues. Start off at Jo's Hot Coffee for Sinner's Brunch and then wander around South Congress (SoCo), to see who is playing at Guerro's Tacos, Continental Club, and more. Our local guide Marsha Mitchell will make sure you know a little local history and maybe introduce you to a few musicians as she seems to know every single one of them in Austin. |
Community Dinner
Sunday: Dinner and Music
Time: 6:30 - 9pm
Location: Central Market WestGate
Some time between classes and the evening dance on Sunday you have to get dinner. And if you don't want to go too far, Central Market is right there in walking distance. But it's so much more than a grocery store. This place has a little restaurant serving burgers, pizza, ramen, and beer on tap... Oh, and because it's Austin, there's also a stage where live bands regularly play for crowds young and old. We've arranged to have a blues band take the stage so you can don't have to stop dancing, even for dinner.
